Value Institute Student Intern Program

The Value Institute Student Intern Program was created to provide meaningful research and unparalleled clinical and analytical experiences to students in a real-world clinical environment with a structured mentorship model. The program provides Value Institute staff with access to undergraduate and graduate-level students to support research efforts throughout ChristianaCare.

This competitive program is open to a limited number students who are currently enrolled or have recently graduated from college, graduate school, or a health professional program as well as college and graduate-level students who are completing a gap year before returning back to school for a higher degree.

Candidates selected to participate as interns are mentored by a Value Institute research investigator and are expected to dedicate approximately 30 hours per week on their assigned research project or projects. The research internship is conducted in the Value Institute department in collaboration with one or more ChristianaCare clinical departments.
