Cecelia Harrison, MPH
Cecelia is a clinical epidemiologist and data driven professional with experience in research coordination, study management, and statistical analysis. As a Research Associate in the Value Institute at Christiana Care Health system, Cecelia's work focuses on using epidemiologic methodology to inform health services and public health research, healthcare policies, and related interventions.
Cecelia has completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a minor in Public Health. She has had extensive public health research training from the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia where she worked as a research assistant for a number of years focused on pediatric injury prevention research. Cecelia then furthered her education at Drexel University's Dornsife School of Public Health completing a Master of Public health (MPH) in Epidemiology and graduate minor in Infectious Disease Prevention and Control. While completing her MPH, Cecelia completed a Fire Injury Research and Epidemiology (FIRE) fellowship with the Firefighter Injury Research and Safety Trends (FIRST) Center at Drexel University where she used her research skills to assist in epidemiologic exploration of big data from the Philadelphia Fire Department and collaborated with fellow researchers to create a system's level checklist to prevent stress and violence in emergency responders.
