Dominique Comer Medaglio, PharmD, MS
Senior Clinical Researcher
Dr. Comer Medaglio is a Senior Clinical Researcher for the Value Institute in the Center for Health Care Delivery Science. She has a PharmD from the University of Kentucky College of Pharmacy, where she conducted research focusing on health literacy and cost effectiveness analysis. She then completed a three-year fellowship in Health Economics and Outcomes Research at the Jefferson College of Population Health in Philadelphia. Her work and experience at JSPH focused on hospital quality, medication prescribing and utilization, and healthcare reform. She is the recipient of the 2012 PhRMA Foundation Postdoctoral Fellowship in Health Outcomes for her work examining linked pharmacy claims to the electronic health record (conducted at Christiana Care). In conjunction with her fellowship, she received an MS in Health Policy at JSPH, where her capstone focused on the implications of nationwide pharmacy data exchange. Her current research interests center on optimizing medication use from clinical, economic, and policy perspectives.
