Executive Administrative Assistant
In her previous position Ms. Jones was the Executive Director of the Delaware Workforce Development Board (DWIB), a private/public partnership which prepares the state’s workforce for today and tomorrow. Her job was to provide insight, support and direction to the board’s members who are responsible for the development and oversight of training services delivered through the state's four One-Stop offices. Gwen worked for the board for over 14 years.
She is also a 19-year veteran of the DuPont Corporation and has earned an Associate’s degree in Business Administration as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services. As a convener of workforce partners, Mrs. Jones understands the importance of leveraging resources, convening workforce partners, and delivering workforce of opportunities to the citizens and businesses of Delaware, in order to make it a better place to live, work, and raise families.
