Mina Ostovari, PhD

Senior Clinical Researcher –Engineer

Dr. Ostovari is a Senior Clinical Researcher with expertise in health informatics and optimization. She received her PhD from Purdue University in industrial engineering. Through her research with the Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering at Purdue University (RCHE) for the past 4 years and as a graduate research assistant, Dr. Ostovari has gained an extensive background in population health management, public health, health outcomes research, and health delivery optimization. In her dissertation work, Dr. Ostovari presented a novel approach for assessment of diabetes care teams collaboration and the impact on patient outcomes through the application of social network analysis, community detection algorithms, and predictive modeling.

Currently, she is actively involved in research-driven projects at Christiana Care Hospital through the Value Institute projects and participates in grant writing activities and publications.
